Montana State’s AMA Chapter To Host First Ever Marketing Network Dinner
BOZEMAN, Mont. – Oct. 30, 2024: The student chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) at Montana State will host its first ever Marketing Networking Dinner from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6, featuring 24 professionals specialized in marketing and graphic design. Students that attend will receive a free dinner as well as a free headshot and the opportunity to sit down and network with professionals in their desired field.
“The Networking Dinner is a great opportunity for marketing and design majors to have their own networking with local companies,” said Aleisha Dutton, president of the AMA chapter and triple major in marketing, accounting, and finance. “Professional development is often hard to come by for students in some majors. So if you are thinking about a career in marketing or a related field, this is the event for you.”
Sponsors who have confirmed attending include Duckworth from the outdoor industry, digital marketers Big Storm, financial advising firm WealthVest, MSU Athletics, WestPaw which manufactures pet toys, services provider Wildfire Defense Systems, and branding expert Hardy Brands.
“We have put a lot of time and effort into this dinner to make sure that students, sponsors, and other professionals have an outstanding experience,” said Amber Kurth, VP of Programs for the AMA. “To speak with professionals in your field about possible career paths is truly a wonderful opportunity. And who doesn't love a free dinner?”
The American Marketing Association at Montana State is MSU’s student chapter of the AMA.
