Global Jordan Sport Brand Marketing Lead at Nike
Marci Kolar is the Global Jordan Sport Brand Marketing Lead at Nike, where she leads marketing strategy for the Jordan Brand across all sports outside of basketball and golf, with a strong focus on athletes and product categories including footwear, apparel, and equipment.
After graduating from MSU, Marci began her career at a small branded merchandise company in Bozeman before relocating to Oregon to pursue opportunities at Nike, bringing together her passions for marketing and sports. Now entering her 12th year at Nike, she has worked with elite athletes, supported global sporting moments, and built a career rooted in creativity and connection. Originally from rural Montana, Marci is excited to share her journey and insights with students at the AMA MSU Regional Conference.
Jason Smith

Jason Smith brings more than 30 years of leadership experience across nonprofit, healthcare, higher education, and humanitarian sectors. Throughout his career, he has served as a chief executive officer for domestic human services organizations, executive vice president for a growing health system and its foundation, campaign manager and vice president for a public university’s largest-ever fundraising effort, and head of global corporate communications for the world’s largest international humanitarian organization. In addition to his professional roles, Jason has held significant volunteer governance positions with leading organizations across multiple sectors.
A Southern California native who now calls Montana home, Jason credits his professional success to a deep commitment to service, collaborative leadership, and building lasting relationships that strengthen communities. He looks forward to sharing his experience and insights with students at the AMA MSU Regional Conference.

Mike will host a workshop that meets students where they are, whether they feel uncertain, curious, overwhelmed, or ready for direction. He will help students define their values and develop a personal decision-making lens, as well as build a values-driven, authentic "brand lens" they can use for networking and career exploration.
